BIO

Anna Reischmann – Age 33 – is a competitor by heart. At year 12 she found out that she was running faster than the majority of girls her age and decided to join the local running team.

She was by far the youngest on the team and had daily training with runners competing at European, World and Olympic level. This was a great motivating factor. Anne had 14 years of competitive running with three podium finishes at National Championships.

In 2016 Anne was left with a knee injury. At this time she started swimming and biking to stay fit. A spark of passion quickly appeared and Anne was all in for triathlon.

In the end of 2018 Anne decided to go all in on a professional triathlon career. Without any sponsors it was a big decision but it has all been worth it. She rapidly improved her swim and bike skills and in 2019 she had her first international podium finish.

At the back end of the 2023 season, Anne made the leap to full-distance racing at Ironman Portugal, where she claimed a silver medal and secured qualification for the 2024 World Championship in Nice. Her 2024 season was marked by a series of impressive performances, including a 4th place finish at Challenge Roth, 6th at T100 Singapore, and the victory at Ironman Southern American Championship in Cozumel.

Anne started 2025 in the best way possible, winning Ironman South Africa and leading the Ironman Pro Series, which will be her main focus for the year. 70.3 Venice Jesolo at the beginning of May and the Ironman European Championships in Hamburg will be the next races before the focus will shift towards the preparation for the Ironman World Championships in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
